Hello

I’m Claire Walmsley, a primary computing specialist, digital lead, and passionate advocate for meaningful, safe technology use in education. With 17 years in the classroom, I create environments were pupils become confident, creative, and future-ready learners. I've helped staff on their digital journey too.

I’m particularly focused on AI in education, computing and EdTech, working to make these areas accessible and practical in everyday teaching.

I’m incredibly proud to have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Edufuturists Awards 2026, Digit:All CODE Awards and the SheCanCode STEM Educator of the Year, recognising my commitment to innovation and impact in computing education.
