AI Literacy Curriculum

My AI Literacy Curriculum is an Edufuturists Award 2026–shortlisted programme, thoughtfully designed to support a progressive journey from Year 1 through to Year 6. Rooted in the UNESCO AI competency framework, it places ethics, bias, and human-centred thinking at its core, helping pupils not just understand AI, but question and use it responsibly.

This work has been shaped through extensive research, classroom practice, and continual refining to ensure it is both meaningful and practical for teachers. The idea first grew from a Raspberry Pi AI symposium, sparking a journey that I’ve since developed and shared more widely—you can read more about that journey in my article in Hello World magazine.
